About Us
Our Story
Our origin story began in the hazy days of 2015 at a London party. James was convinced Lauren had just rolled in from sunny California (blame the tan), and Lauren thought he was German ("yah!").
Fast forward a decade, and the truth is out: he's just a posh Englishman, and Lauren's tan was only temporary. Despite these initial, slight misinterpretations, here we are!
We can't wait to celebrate our journey — and the fact that we finally figured out each other's nationalities — with all our favourite humans.

For a Scottish summer wedding? Cover all bases. It's never a bad idea to pack an extra layer just in case.
Yes.

In the interests of calmness and to avoid unwanted muddy paws on outfits, we have made the difficult decision to keep Hugo away from the wedding. Fear not, there will be a Hugo-themed experience available for those who wish to participate.
We appreciate that for many of you, visiting Scotland is a BIG deal. If you have time, we recommend visiting some of the sights of Scotland. Love the outdoors? Go on a roadtrip to visit a famous Loch, or climb a Munro. Love to laugh and enjoy city life? Our wedding falls on the final weekend of the Edinburgh Fringe, the world's largest performing arts festival. So try to get a day or two in if you can, you won't regret it.
